The first pair I received was too large. Sent them back and got the right size. Left boot was too tight. I was sent another pair. The right boot was roughed up in one spot, so I kept the good right boot from the first pair and the new left boot from the second pair. Have put fifty miles on them. The only problem is that the old right boot is too tight around the instep tendon of my foot. I adjust lacing to compensate. The left boot is perfect. I would have sent them back for an exchange but was told that since I've sent two pair back, they would only offer a refund. All in all, I expect these boots to last the rest of my life, as they are both my walking shoes and dress shoes. I keep them polished and spit-shined on the toes and heels.
