I am SO ******* TIRED of every pair of womens' jeans in a store being marked things like relaxed fit or comfort stretch when that's not REMOTELY how they fit. I'm 5'9, 175 lbs, with a 35 waist--I'm tall, and I've got some hips, but I'm not heavy. Yet every time I try on a pair of 14s that feel like 8s I want to scream. I'm tired of jeans marked long when they still ride up past my ankles when I'm sitting. I'm tall! I need longer jeans than the average woman, and a centimeter's difference doesn't cut it!These jeans--they're a 14 that feels like what a 14 *should* feel like. Others rarely ever do, hence saying that these run large, because they were larger than I expected but exactly what I needed them to be. I don't need 12s--a quick soak in some hot water to shrink them up just a touch and they'll fit me snug as a glove with wiggle room to spare. They're Longs--and I may have to hem them! And, please understand, that is 100% not a complaint--I'm actually laughing with relief right now at having found jeans that are ACTUALLY long. I don't mind a little hemming one bit.I can reach down to pick something off the ground without feeling like my pants are going to split or ride down too low. I can sit comfortably. My thighs can BREATHE! No one reading this has any idea how long it's taken me to find a pair of jeans like this. I'll never buy them anywhere else again.
