Was looking for decent boots that are not made with cushioned insoles and these did not say anything about having them till I took them out of box. They seem to break down and then boot is not right.

They fit very well and they are very comfortable.
Ordering was easy. Shipping was very fast, came a week earlier than expected. Boots are pretty comfortable out of the box - I expect to have a short break in period with these.My only concern is the instep leather seems very thin - nicely subtle, but, ??? The whole boot started out looking like the toe and heel, darker brown and smooth.... after walking 100 yds the top of the vamp/instep leather looks cracked and much lighter brown. Perhaps that is what "Distressed Leather" does... feel free to shed some light and educate me.
